Miracle Stories - ILM

Many Christians have succumbed to the “traditions of men” that says that only clergy or preachers or “super spiritual people” can participate in miracles. So, the “lay people” say they can’t do miracles or they might even say that that is what they pay their pastor for. How sad.

Jesus called all believers to lay hands on the sick and see them recover as well as cast out demons. The Apostle Paul listed 9 gifts of the Holy Spirit that were available to all Christians as moved by the Holy Spirit. Those gifts of the Holy Spirit are not for the person praying for someone, but they are a gift to the person being prayed for. If I pray for someone to get healed and they get healed, that happened because the Holy Spirit gave the sick person the gift of healing, not because I somehow became the healer.

The premise of this teaching is that all Christians are on the same level in the eyes of God and that God has called all Christians to let His Holy Spirit perform miracles at their hands. To illustrate this, Fr Dan tells stories of miracles he and Deborah have watched the Lord do in their lives. Anybody who knows Fr Dan and Deborah, knows that there is nothing special about them. And yet, some of these stories are so supernatural that they are hard to believe. Listen to this teaching and get inspired to let the Holy Spirit do miracles through you on a regular basis.
