20240804 181243 Tux Playing in the Mattress Box with the Bug Stick Toys Box

I'd been meaning to start hacking on the mattress box that I've had for roughly a month to make it more of a cat toy. My previous, dearest cat friends had a dishwasher box that they both liked to spend long periods of time in, which I filled with crunchy paper from shipments from Amazon, Chewy and DigiKey (who uses that absolute best die-cut-textured? packing paper).

Instead I cut some holes in it for teasing him with what's barely remaining of one of his favorite toys -- the Bug Stick Toy. I've been looking around in the craft stores for materials to use to try to make something similar when poor Mr. Bug finally expires, which seems like it's going to be soon. Until I get that done, he still (also barely!) still has Mr. Flying Bug Toy to maul -- and i still have one totally new one that I found before the move to surprise him with whenever that Mr. Flying Bug Toy ceases to be usable.
