Rachel Yaffe, a 27-year-old TikTok star from Maryland, passed away on October 11 after a courageous seven-year battle with a rare liver cancer called fibrolamellar hepatocellular carcinoma. Known for documenting her cancer journey online, Rachel openly shared her experiences, both the highs and lows, with her followers. She was diagnosed in her late teens when doctors discovered a 20cm tumor in her liver. Despite her initial surgery, the cancer returned and spread, but Rachel remained determined, exploring both traditional and alternative treatments.
