Denver East vs Chatfield Full Game | High School Football | 10.11.2024

The 5-1 Denver East Angels took on the 5-1 Chatfield Chargers at Jeffco Stadium for CSH's homecoming game on October 11, 2024.
The Chargers dominated most of the first half, taking the opening drive 80 yards over 8 1/2 minutes, mostly on the back of Sr RB Cory Bahl, before So Cash Williams hit So Jayden Zeller for a short TD pass. After a perfect Andrew Astone pinned East at their own 1, Chatfield capitalized with a safety. Sr LB Caleb Espinosa got chance to score in the goal line offense and Chatty was up 16-0. The Angels finally got on the board with a Sean Campbell dominated on the ground and scoring from 14 yards out late in the first half.

East was allowed to take the 2nd half kickoff from a yard deep in the end zone, rather than being a legal touchback and Elijah West-Duah returned it 101 yards for the touchdown. From there on out, East dominated defensively, sacking Cash Williams 7 times, shutting down the run and being unstoppable offensively on the ground. Chatfield got a late touchdown pass from Williams to Jr Roni Rohlman to make it close at 29-26.
