Marvel Actor Simu Liu Gets Backlash for Attempt to Cancel Tea Company

Marvel actor Simu Liu is getting backlash for his attempt to cancel a boba tea company since the owners of the business are not from Taiwan.

The actor most known for Shang-Chi, Barbie, as well as stock photography said the company presenting their boba tea product were not of the ethnic group he is looking to prop up. The owners of the company in question have allegedly received death threats from people on Simu Liu’s side of the political spectrum. This is something the actor has since denounced even if he is the catalyst for why these threats are happening to begin with.
