David Benavidez Silence Critics: I'm Fighting David Morrell Next!

6 days ago, David Benavidez announced via Instagram that he's fighting David Morrell next. Critics and boxing fans alike have accused Benavidez of ducking Morrell for years now.

Morrell has been on record calling out Benavidez to no avail. Morrell wanted to fight Benavidez so badly, that he followed Benavidez to Light Heavyweight, chasing him.

Now, it appears this ight is official. Here's what Benavidez said on his Instagram page.

There was a lot of names on the table but I wanted to give my fans the best fight possible. I reached out to David Morrell and his team to make this happen and we got the contract done.

This fight really gonna be a banger!!! 2 of the best in the division and 2 titles on the line. Date and location will be announced.
