Tom Barrett, Current state of the race

Tom Barrett is a 22-year US Army Veteran, who served in the Iraq War and logged more than 1,000 hours as a Lakota helicopter pilot. He also served eight years in the Michigan House and Senate as one of its most conservative members. Today, he’s running for Congress is the most competitive open seat in the country, Michigan’s 7th District.
