"My partner passed away, 24 July, Cancer. What everyone said is right. I never thought I'd be putting him in that hole. On the 5th of May he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. By the 24th of July we're burying him, and he took 2 Covid needles. Because of work.
There's a lot more Aboriginal people and other people. There's even old fella's sons. We've got so many people we are burying, and Sharon (funeral director), can't keep up with it. It's reality, it's true.
When I was down in hospital, with him, in cancer patient ward, I've never seen so many old people and young ones. And they all, when I spoke to them, all said when they took the needle, they became, with their cancer.
You need to do something about it."
