“I was a lifelong Democrat. It was just understood in my household, you were Democrat.

It wasn’t until late 2022 that a good friend of mine said to me, ‘You’re a Democrat, right?’

And I said, ‘Yes, of course I am.’

And he said, ‘Are grocery prices higher for you under a Democrat administration?’

And I said, ‘Yes.’

And he said, ‘Is that better for you?’

All I could say was, ‘Well…no.’

He said, ‘You like what the Democrat Party claims to stand for. But you don’t like what they do or what they actually stand for. You’re against abortion and believe there are only two genders. And how are the illegal migrants coming in, the wars, and the inflation benefiting you?’

I said, ‘They’re not.’

And he said, ‘Exactly. Why are you supporting a Party that’s not making your life better?’

That was my #WalkAway moment.

I could no longer support the Democrat party. This Party has drastically changed since JFK. That version of the Party died when he died.

The Biden-Harris administration is allowing things to happen that are evil and wrong. And if you have a conscience, how can you support that?

My life was better under the Republican Trump administration.”
