Sanctus Ignís came at a great time to add to the symphonic progressive landscape, being a much loved cult classic along with Underworld. This era of Adagio is beloved by a lot of fans, with good reason. It was enjoyable to go through this album and discuss some of the highlights that Stéphan Forté and crew offer. Speaking of the crew, Richard Andersson really shines here showcasing his virtuosic playing in tracks like In Nomine... and The Stringless Violin. David Readman also gives his all and solidifies himself as a very underrated vocalist. Sit back and enjoy as we rate this classic symphonic prog album and let us know what you think of this Forgotten Legend!

Our score: 7.94 / 10
