Episode 2582: The Silent Prophecy of Knock Unraveling Marian Messages Through Time

Hello everyone, welcome back to CR, before we let the anniversary of Oct 13th Miracle of the Sun pass us by lets delve into Marian apparitions and their relevance to the Church and the world today. Today, we’ll explore a pattern emerging from four critical Marian apparitions La Salette (1846), Lourdes (1858), Knock (1879), and Fatima (1917). By looking at these apparitions together, we see a prophetic sequence that points to deeper truths about the Church, the world, and the struggles we face in these times.
La Salette and Lourdes: Prophecy in the Midst of Troubled Times
At La Salette in 1846, Our Lady warned of grave trials that the Church would soon face. However, the day of the apparition was marked by beautiful weather a sharp contrast to the ominous message she shared about future persecutions and an "eclipse" within the Church.

Then came Lourdes in 1858, where Bernadette Soubirous encountered Our Lady at the Grotto. The apparitions began under unusual weather conditions a gust of wind, as if a storm were approaching, signaling the turbulent times ahead. A miraculous spring burst forth at Lourdes, bringing healing to many, symbolizing the grace still available amidst the Church’s trials. Importantly, these apparitions confirmed the dogma of the Immaculate Conception proclaimed just four years earlier by Pope Pius IX.
Pius IX was a pivotal figure, shepherding the Church through immense turmoil. In 1870, he entrusted the Church to the protection of St. Joseph, recognizing the enemies pressing upon her from all sides. That same year, the First Vatican Council declared the dogma of papal infallibility a bold act of clarity amidst growing confusion.
While Pope Pius IX promoted Marian devotion and approved the apparitions of Lourdes, he passed away in 1878, a year before another significant Marian apparition Knock occurred in Ireland.

The Silent Apparition at Knock: Prelude to Fatima’s Warning
The apparition at Knock on August 21, 1879, was unlike anything before it silent, symbolic, and filled with meaning. As rain poured steadily over the small Irish village, the vision appeared: Our Lady, St. Joseph, and St. John the Evangelist stood alongside the Lamb of God on an altar, surrounded by angels. The silence itself seemed to speak volumes a prophetic pause between the apparitions at Lourdes and the later warnings at Fatima.
Interestingly, 1879 was also a year of significant Marian milestones. It marked the completion of the Cathedral of Lourdes, which had been approved by Pope Pius IX in 1870. That same year, Pope Leo XIII crowned Our Lady of La Salette and issued his Apostolic Letter Apertæ Fidei Humanae Generi to commemorate the consecration of the new cathedral. This interconnectedness suggests that Knock is not just a peaceful image but a continuation of heaven’s unfolding message to humanity.

Fatima and the Chastisement to Come
Fast forward to 1917, at Fatima, where Our Lady issued dire warnings, urging repentance and foretelling a chastisement unlike any the world had ever seen. It’s here that the theme of increasing hostility in the weather reaches its climax. Each of the six apparitions at Fatima began with a flash of lightning or thunder, building to the final Miracle of the Sun on October 13, 1917. On that day, the rain stopped, the clouds parted, and the sun danced in the sky, terrifying the thousands of witnesses before returning to its place and drying the ground instantly.
A Storm is Coming
The weather patterns across these apparitions from the sunny day at La Salette, to the gusty beginnings at Lourdes, to the downpour at Knock, and the cosmic storm at Fatima suggest an escalating warning from heaven. At Knock, the silence may symbolize the Church’s coming eclipse, a time of trial that culminates in the full manifestation of the crisis warned about at Fatima. As St. John preached in the vision at Knock, this silent message seems to align with the apocalyptic visions found in the Book of Revelation.

So, what are we to make of these signs? Is Knock the prelude to Fatima’s threatening message? Given what Our Lady has revealed throughout these apparitions, a chastisement of cosmic proportions seems inevitable if humanity does not repent.
The Present Crisis in the Church
Some may wonder if the storm Our Lady warned of has already begun. The current papacy, marked by confusion and the erosion of traditional Catholic teachings, leads many to ask: Are we witnessing the fulfillment of the Third Secret of Fatima? Even Sister Lucia, one of the Fatima seers, hinted that reading Revelation chapters 8 to 13 might provide insight into the secret’s meaning. Are we living through that unfolding now?
Conclusion: Pray for the Church
While many today misunderstand Knock reducing it to a sentimental devotion the truth is that the apparition carries a grave warning. It urges us to stay vigilant, for a storm is upon us. As we reflect on these successive apparitions La Salette, Lourdes, Knock, and Fatima it becomes clear that heaven has been preparing us for the trials we now face.
