Plane crash site, Hurricane Milton devastation on fort island trail piers, boat launches and beach

The wife and I took a ride to see where the Plan crashed last week, then decided to see if the beach road was open on Fort Island Trail, well... it kind of was. Hurricane Milton did a number on the beach area pier and boat launch area. So sad. They say that area is closed indefinitely.

Crystal River area is a nice quiet old Florida kind of town so we have been visiting there for the past several years and started looking for property. We finally found something very inexpensive with an old Mobile Home on it, so electric, well and septic included (no $6000 impact fees) and pulled the trigger.
