A Vote for Righteousness

We have all heard it said that there are two things you don’t want to mix… politics and religion. However, it is precisely this kind of thinking that has gotten us into the political mess we are currently in. As a matter of fact, this nation was founded by a group of God-fearing, deeply religious men who were not afraid to mix their religious values with their political values. Our constitution and the Bill of Rights guarantees us “freedom of religion” not “freedom from religion.” As Christians, we must actively participate in the political process if we hope to see this nation return once again to one nation under God. The following is God’s truth about a Christian’s responsibility to vote for righteousness.
