Now even though going through this whole story is an exciting task, it's one that will take some time as well! Looking forward doing this with you!
Kentaro Miura's Berserk has accompanied my own life for two decades and it's been in existence for over three decades! We'll start with Miura's 'pitch', 'draft' or whatever you'd like to call it and then we're going straight into the Black Swordsman arc. This chapter has also been featured within the 1997 anime adaptation of Berserk as well. Beside Guts & Puck we don't learn too much from this early part of the story, but we'll get quite some questions...
If we talk about the manga that makes you question your existence, we should not only mention the climber, Vagabond or Vinland Saga. I think, even though it's more of a fantastic tale, Berserk should be listed there as well, because there's a lot of existential philosophy in there.
