Hey peeps, it’s Lisa Jo, your essential oil girl—how you doing? So, it’s Saturday, and that means it’s grocery day. The boyfriend and I are on our weekly date... at Safeway, because that’s what date night looks like these days! But, y’all, I just have to vent—how are people even affording groceries right now? Every time I hear the news saying inflation is going down, I look at my receipt and think, “Where??” We just spent $140 for ONE week of groceries for just the two of us, and eggs are still $5.99! Even my popsicles went from $3.99 to $4.99, and I didn’t notice until I was checking out—otherwise, they would’ve gone right back on the shelf! 😅

They are lying to us. This inflation is not improving, and I don't care what they say. We're not stupid, geez.

At least here in Lone Tree, Colorado (yup, we’ve moved from Cocoa Beach, Florida), we remembered to bring our own bags, so that saved us from paying extra. But I’ve got to ask—how are YOU managing grocery costs? I even clipped coupons on the store app, and it still added up to $140. 🤯
