Globalization as we know it is over. Good riddance. For decades the West thought that the world becoming more like itself was a god-given fact and a proof of the superiority of their social models. Well, this process is now over. The Global South is claiming its own space under various local arrangements. But that is not to say that the world won't grow closer together.
