Lesson 03 How Should Christian’s Vote? Divine Institution #2: Marriage

SBC Family,

There is no way we can get through all this information, so at some point you should read through it. We’ll do as much as we can tomorrow. We are in a dire situation in our country. I do not think many know how serious this juncture is. Many continue to say, “I can’t vote because neither candidate is good.” But the Bible says do good to all men and stand against lawlessness. We stand up and vote for the greater good because God wants us to stand up for the greater good. What type of America will we leave our children and grandchildren and great grandchildren? If we stand by and do nothing certainly we know the outcome. I don’t care if you vote or not, but I am responsible to teach you what God says to help prepare you for standing before Him personally and having to give an account for why you did what you did. That’s very serious.

Tomorrow I will describe what the Bible teaches about marriage; it’s design, structure, obligations, etc…and then what happens when it is changed and how it affects freedom of speech, freedom of conscience, businesses, work places, job security, demographics, children, and many other things. Finally, a look at the political platforms of Democrats and Republicans as well as what Kamala Harris and Donald Trump have said about these things.
