What’s the difference between RELIGION and RELATIONSHIP with Jesus Christ?

RELIGION always take a spiritual truth and tries to turn it into something physical.

Here’s an example… In Matthew 7:13-14, Jesus says, “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”

Obviously Jesus is talking about Himself. The only way to salvation is through the blood of Jesus Christ… so that’s a pretty narrow gate!

But religion tries to turn that into a bunch of rules. Religion focuses ONLY on the outward physical things even though that is not what Jesus was talking about at all. There is no attention to the inward component… the relationship with Jesus. Religious people have created their own narrow path... and it's deadly!
