The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap is an action-adventure game developed by Capcom and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Advance. Released in 2004, it is the twelfth main installment in the Legend of Zelda series.

The game follows Link as he embarks on a quest to rescue Princess Zelda and save the land of Hyrule from the evil sorcerer Vaati. Link is aided by a magical talking hat named Ezlo, which allows him to shrink to the size of the tiny Minish people. The gameplay features traditional Zelda elements such as exploration, puzzle-solving, and combat, with new mechanics including the ability to shrink to Minish size, allowing Link to access new areas and solve unique puzzles.

The game takes place in Hyrule, with various locations including towns, forests, and dungeons. The ability to switch between normal and Minish size adds a unique twist to the exploration. Key features include Kinstone Fusion, where players can collect and fuse Kinstones with NPCs to unlock secrets and new areas, and the Minish Transformation, which allows Link to shrink to Minish size using portals scattered throughout the world. Unlike other Zelda games, Vaati is the primary antagonist instead of Ganon.
