Poles have created an intelligent garbage bin that segregates and compacts waste itself. The originators of the project, Jakub Luboński and Marcin Łotysz, noticed a problem that we face every day - burdensome and often makeshift waste segregation in households. Therefore, they decided to create an intelligent home container - a device that will enable an increase in the number of recovered waste.We have been running a company for several years, and waste segregation has always been our standard. It seemed trivial to me, after all, all you need to do is throw away glass to glass, plastic to plastic, or paper to paper. However, it turned out that someone was constantly running around the company with a cardboard box in hand, trying to figure out where to throw it away - says Marcin Łotysz, one of the originators of Bin-e. This means that people cannot or do not want to do it. And so, involuntarily, I became an "eco-advice" in our company. When we looked deeper into the topic, it turned out that only about 10% of the waste produced in our homes is processed in the world. What about the rest? Then the idea came to create a solution that would protect the world from the consequences of the everyday decisions we make over the waste bin, he explains.
