🇪🇬 Travel in Egypt

I departed Sharm El Sheikh by bus, bound for Cairo. Once in the bustling metropolis, I began my southward journey, relishing the thrill of cycling through Africa's largest city. I eventually arrived in Abusir, where I found a comfortable guesthouse.
The following day, I set out to explore the pyramids of Dahshur and Saqqara. Unfortunately, my visit to Dahshur was cut short due to unforeseen circumstances that involved a run-in with the police. However, I managed to escape and eventually reached Saqqara, where I was allowed to visit the pyramids despite initial reluctance due to my bicycle.
Throughout my journey, I encountered common instances of harassment that are unfortunately prevalent in Egypt.
