Listen to Mr Cox pontificate about his time on the Pasco County Mosquito Control District. Mr Joiner was elected in 2020, but had to decline to serve due to family situations. Mr Cox was appointed by DEM Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried to replace Mr Joiner.

During Mr Cox tenure the district has started planning and implementing a new $37 Million Campus for this small district. He also gave the Director a substantial and likely unwarranted raise of $40,000. She is now one of the most inexperienced and highest paid directors in the State.

The district has become known for wreckless spending and lots of vacation days during Mr Cox tenure and Ms Rogers Directorship. Juneteenth, Indiginous Peoples Day, the day before a hurricane and the day after. Publix can operate but this "Public Health District" needs to give their employees the day off.
