Lara Croft is too attractive for a modern audience. Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft showrunner Tasha Huo set out with the aim to get another Lara in the show, something that could bridge the gap from the outdated model that made the series popular in the first place, to whatever Embracer Group has in mind to further destroy what remains of the IP.

They don't want you to enjoy what you do. Tomb Raider has survived for nearly 30 years on the back of sex appeal, but that's not what these feminist writers want you to enjoy. Just wait to see how bad things will get when Phoebe Waller Bridge gets her grubby hands on Lara, you'll be begging for the animated massacre to return!
