Amazon Buying Lord of the Rings Rights? Rings of Power Ratings CRASH!

The Lord of the Rings could be under complete Amazon ownership in the near future. After announcing terrible Season 2 ratings for The Rings of Power, Amazon MGM Studios Head Jennifer Salke was asked if the studio was interested in acquiring the rights to Tolkien's work from the embattled Embracer Group, who took ownership in 2022. She skated around a direct answer, instead touting 55 million interactions with Season 2 of the Second Age desecration.

If Amazon wants the rights to The Lord of the Rings, they can get them. You don't want that and if you think what they are currently doing to the appendices is bad, just imagine what they will do to a remake of the Trilogy...
