Welcome to my channel! Today, I will be showing you how to make delicious and crispy cake rusk at home. This popular tea-time snack is perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth and is loved by people of all ages. With simple ingredients and easy steps, you can make these crunchy treats in no time.

Ingredients:
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 3/4 cup powdered sugar
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
• 3 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
• 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
• 1 and 1/3 teaspoons baking powder
• A pinch of salt
• 2 drops of yellow food color

Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C. Line a 7-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
2. Grease the parchment paper with oil. Set the pan aside.
3. In a bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, cardamom powder, and salt. Mix well and set aside.
4. In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
5. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
6. Add vanilla essence and yellow food color. Mix well.
7. Add the flour mixture and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
8. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
9. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
10. Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly in the pan.
11. After the cake has cooled a bit, cut it into slices (approximately 1/2 inch thick).
12. Arrange the slices on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
13. Bake the slices at 180°C for 15 minutes until golden and crisp.
14. Let the rusks cool completely. They will become even more crisp as they cool.
