"The message we got, it said life or death. I was like, I have to get this helicopter hot refueled. And he was like, what's the situation? I was like, this one-year-old baby's going to die... At the time, we didn't know it, but it was an 11-day-old premature baby."

The Shawn Ryan Show received hundreds of messages following the viral post from Jonathan Howard about his work with Aerial Recovery, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to employing special operators around the world for disaster relief and combating human trafficking. Today, Jonathan Howard and Charlie Keebaugh join me to provide a firsthand account of what they witnessed on the ground during their operations in North Carolina in response to Hurricane Helene. The Shawn Ryan Show has personally made a donation to Aerial Recovery, and their team is currently en route to assist with operations for Hurricane Milton.
