My Haunted Diary episode with paranormal explorer James Edward Garcia in Charlestown, Rhode Island
James stays at the Inn for 2 nights by himself and does solo investigations throughout the Inn. Capturing Apparitions, Shadows, doors opening and closing on their own, getting touched, voices, EVPs, bangs and strange noises.
The General Stanton Inn started with an old Native American School won in a lottery by Thomas Stanton in 1667. He and his Son Joseph Stanton started to build additions which included an Inn. General Joseph Stanton served in the Revolutionary War. George Washington spent time at the Inn. The Inn was in the Stanton Family for 200 years. There have been only 5 owners of the estate. Janice Falcone (current owner) being the 5th owner.
The Ghost Hunters did an investigation at the Inn during the 2nd Season of their show. Steve Gonsalves was lead investigator for that episode and makes a quick appearance in this My Haunted Diary episode.
