"Daniel 11: Who is the King of the North" by David Barron.

David continues his study of Chapter 11 of the Book of Daniel.

"Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days." (Dan 10:14)

The book of Daniel has been shown to us to give us understanding for what the characteristics are of the King of the North. What is he we like?

"...even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows." (Dan 7:20)

"I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;" (Dan 7:21)

"And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time."
(Dan 7:25)

"And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done." (Dan 11:36)

"Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all." (Dan 11:37)

"But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things." (Dan 11:38)

"Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain." (Dan 11:39)

It's really important that we take time tounderstand and identify our mortal enemy before our God and our Saviour. So much so that Jesus calls to us on THREE occasions...
"And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear." (Mar 4:9)
"If any man have ears to hear, let him hear." (Mar 4:23)
"If any man have ears to hear, let him hear." (Mar 7:16)

Dear folk, your saviour is calling to you to hear HIM, before it's too late...

"For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them." (Act 28:27)

"(According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day." (Rom 11:8)

"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables." (2Ti 4:3-4)

Freedom of religion is paramount in life; Freedom to choose what you want to believe is freedom of conscience. Even God does not force you to love Him - it's your choice. The END GAME in life is this: SATAN through his demons will FORCE people to WORSHIP; Satan wants your mind.

God wants your heart. Wake up & turn to God in repentance before it's too late and probation closes; God withdraws from this world; your prayers will no longer be answered.
