Open Your Eye Ep131 with guests Chris Jordan and Sarah Fraser

Joint hosts Kim Cooper and Tarra Simpson are joined by returning Kambo practitioner & natural wellness enthusiast Chris Jordan, who is bringing along his friend and colleague Sarah Fraser on NOK Network

Chris Jordan is an advanced Kambo practitioner dedicated to honoring the traditional ways of working with this powerful medicine. With a deep commitment to holistic health and wellness, Chris specializes as a transformational recovery wellness coach, focusing on recovery and the preparation and integration of psychedelic experiences. His journey into intentional plant medicine began with cannabis, which served as a catalyst for harm reduction and self-healing. This initial experience opened the door for Chris to explore the healing powers of other plant spirits. After receiving foundational training in Kambo ceremonies in Mexico, he furthered his education in the heart of the Amazon jungle, immersing himself in the ancient practices and wisdom of indigenous cultures. For Chris, health and wellness encompass spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical dimensions. Through his work, he empowers others to embark on their own healing journeys, fostering a deeper connection to themselves and the natural world.

With over two decades of experience in the fitness realm, Sarah Fraser's journey began at the age of 15 when she discovered her love for martial arts. This early passion blossomed into a diverse skill set, earning her certifications in yoga, weight training, personal training, sport-specific training, and kickboxing. Her extensive work with individuals of varying fitness levels and ages has equipped her with the ability to create inclusive, multi-level classes. Known for her approachable demeanor, Sarah is also adept at motivating her clients to stay committed to their goals and embrace challenges. In February 2010, Sarah founded Crave Fitness, a welcoming community-oriented studio designed for individuals at all fitness levels. However, in 2016, she began to face recurring burnout, prompting her to explore an essential aspect of wellness that had previously eluded her: a harmonious balance of physical, nutritional, mental, and spiritual practices. Over the following years, she engaged in Kambo Medicine ceremonies every two to three months, allowing her to peel back emotional layers, build a connection with the medicine, and cultivate a healthier self-relationship. Inspired by the transformative effects of this practice, Sarah felt a profound calling to become a certified Kambo practitioner, enabling her to share its benefits with others. In 2020, she completed her certification, ready to guide others on their journeys of healing and growth.
