Hey peeps! It’s Lisa Jo, your essential oil girl, how you doing? Today I wanted to share an update on what's going on—especially with the storm heading toward Florida. For those following me, you know I’ve recently moved from Cocoa Beach, Florida to Lone Tree, Colorado. So, while I’m out here now, watching this hurricane roll in from afar has been an interesting and emotional experience. As I watch the news, there’s even a tornado warning for the exact area where our condo is in Cocoa Beach, which we're still trying to sell.

Living in Florida for 15 years, we never rode out a hurricane. We always evacuated—luxuries like toilets and electricity were too precious! We would flee to Georgia or stay with family. But watching it now, from this distance, feels so different. I keep wondering how far the water has come up, what’s happening to the Banana River, and hoping my neighbors who stayed behind are safe. This experience has reminded me that no matter where we go, a piece of our heart stays behind.

I’ll keep you updated, but for now, I’m praying for everyone in Cocoa Beach. Be safe, be smart. I miss you guys, and I hope this storm is just a big nothing burger in the end. Sending love to all of you!
