KENYAN GOVERNMENT TO SPEN KSH.100MILLION TO EVACUATE STRANDED CITIZENS IN LEBANON

Prime Cabinet Secretary (CS) Musalia Mudavadi says the government has set aside at least KSh100 million to assist in the evacuation of Kenyans stranded in the Middle East due to the volatile situation in the region.It is estimated that more than 26,000 Kenyans are within the high-risk areas following the ongoing rage between Israel and Lebanon.The Prime CS says at least 1,500 Kenyans have already notified authorities of their urgent need of help, adding that some are, however, 'comfortable where they are'.
