Her primary duties were to assist the dentist by prepping each dental patient with injections of pain medication.

All teeth were subject to an extraction because there was no way the patient could have follow-up appointment. They served from 50 to 300 at every site they visited.

My duties were to prepare an area for planting a garden. Teach the refugees from Nicaragua to work with the seeds I had brought from the States.
The Nicaraguan native population was fleeing from religious persecution. They professed to be Evangelical Christian.

I brought, from the States, corn and vegetable seeds.

We saw men and women horribly disfigured by the Sandinista Communist soldiers.
Pastors who watched their entire family raped and murdered in the most sadistic way. Then asked by the soldiers. “Where is your God now?”
