Are You Like a Tree Planted by the Water?

Trees that are planted by bodies of water tend to look strong. It gets nourishment from the water as its roots stretch deep, receiving water that is readily available. If it's near the ocean, winds constantly challenge the tree, but it grows stronger and stronger as its trunk adjusts to the demands put on it by high winds. As we depend on God to supply our needs readily, though storms may come to challenge us, we too can be like the tree planted by the rivers of water. Though we may sway a little side by side, we must stay firmly rooted and planted as we grow and not be moved by the storms of life.
