Hurricane Helene Impact Focus Video

Hi Everyone,

God’s agape love is supernatural. It’s a “different animal.” It’s spiritually powerful. It meets outward needs AND emotional and spiritual needs in people’s lives. The closest analogy is a mother’s love for her child.

Yesterday, I returned from Western North Carolina where I saw the effects of God’s agape love poured out to hurting people through many of you.

In Vietnam, Orphan Voice worked several times to help people after destructive typhoons. Now comes Hurricane Helene here. Natural disasters have the same effect on people’s lives, whether Vietnamese or American: shock, disbelief, “what’s happening!?”

Victims of natural disasters feel alone, powerless, and overwhelmed. They want (and need) someone to know that “they are there” - that they are suffering.

Here’s where the Father’s agape love poured out through many of you comes in. Loved-filled gifts of water, baby food, diapers, medicines, generators, and more communicate at a heart level that someone does know that “they are there.”

Given that, to say “thank you” is hopelessly inadequate, but we’ll try anyway: THANK YOU!

Sincerely in Christ,

Tony and Cindy
