You may have been raised working class, but you’re a millionaire now. So SHUT UP!

At the end of the day, both Trump and Kamala are incredibly wealthy. Same goes for Biden or almost any Democrat running for office. Same goes for Jessica Alba and other Hollywood celebrities.

It is meaningless and rings false to pretend you’re less fortunate than you are, to pretend you understand what it’s like to be middle class NOW just because you grew up middle class way back when, to pretend to not only grow up working class but also to stay there—and struggle there—your whole life when indeed you haven’t.

Trump doesn’t pretend. He offers us policy—not platitudes or harrowing tales about an irrelevant middle-class upbringing.

And that’s what I care about.

If you’re wealthy now, I don’t care that you were raised working class. Go write a memoir about it. But leave it out of the campaign. Because it’s irrelevant to me and millions of everyday struggling Americans living paycheck to paycheck NOW. #imwithhim #imnotwithher #WalkAway
