Two former Ukrainian soldiers tell of their surrender and how they gained their freedom

Two soldiers from the Ukrainian armed forces who voluntarily surrendered, took no part in the hostilities and do not share Ukrainian values, have been granted their freedom in Russia and will return to their families in the new regions.

The soldiers, who committed no crime, decided to surrender, followed the instructions of the Russian side and were returned to their families. The unique case of the release of these prisoners has become revealing: Russia always keeps its promises and is prepared to go half way with those who are pure before the law. The IR film crew recorded an interview with former FAU soldiers at the very moment of their release, talking about the morale of the Ukrainian army and the importance of making the decision to surrender to the Russian armed forces.
