Hey everyone, Girish Raja here! Today’s video is a bit different. I want to talk to you about something that's been on my mind for a while, and also share something many of you have been asking for!

If you’ve been following my content, you probably remember the series I started called “What I Would Eat If I Was a Hosteler in [Insert Medical College Name],” where I shared diet plans for students living in hostels, including one for my own college, Madras Medical College.

But here's the truth… I had to stop.

The reason? It wasn’t because I didn’t want to help anymore or because people were asking for free diet plans. In fact, I gave away around 40 free custom diet and workout plans to people—while balancing medical college, my gym routine, classes, exams, AND a 30-day content creation challenge. But what I noticed is that people were taking it for granted. I’d follow up with those who received the plans, and guess what? No action. It was disheartening because I was investing my time and energy, but the people on the receiving end weren’t making any effort.

So, I stopped posting about diet plans altogether.

But here’s where I had a change of heart. I started thinking, “What if there’s at least one person in my audience who genuinely needs a diet plan and would actually use it to improve their life?” I didn’t want to let a few bad apples make me think that there aren’t people out there who are truly ready to commit to change.

That’s when I decided to shift my approach.

Rather than just handing out diet plans, I thought—why not teach you how to create your own? After all, there's a famous saying:
“Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.”
