10.08.2024 | A CCP-backed hacking group called "Salt Typhoon" has infiltrated AT&T, Verizon and Lumen Technologies, trying to steal information from the wiretapping systems used by US law enforcement and intelligence agencies, the Wall Street Journal reports. Salt Typhoon reached a position to acquire a large amount of data which could be used against US interests. Currently, the U.S. National Intelligence Agency is investigating the incident.
