Jacek Karpiński, genius. He created the best computer in the world. The communists squandered his achievement. On April 9, 1927 in Turin, Jacek Rafał Karpiński was born, an electronics and computer engineer, a soldier of the Gray Ranks - a man who could give Poland a leading position in world IT.
Jacek Karpiński was the son of Adam Karpiński, an aircraft designer and mountaineer, and Wanda Czarnocka-Karpińska, a doctor and alpinist. In the early 1970s, he created the best minicomputer in the world, but the socialist system did not allow him to achieve success like Apple or Microsoft.
