Konami Deletes SILENT HILL 2 Post About Remake Being for “Modern Audiences”

Konami deleted an X post for their remake of Silent Hill 2 that mentions how the game is for “modern audiences.”

The term is generally regarded as a euphemism to mean it’s targeting the audience that want to push DEI. It also doesn’t help the argument that Bloober Team, the studio developing the Silent Hill 2 Remake, hire consulting firm Hit Detection which has a stated goal of pushing DEI in video games. An employee for this Sweet Baby Inc. spin-off has even said in the past how he hates gamers and wants to push this sort of messaging.
