Nov. 3, 1964 - In Lockport, N.Y., tonight, Republican Vice Presidential candidate William E. Miller told reporters he would make no statement on the election until Senator Goldwater made his statement at 10 a.m. tomorrow. Lockport, Miller’s hometown, normally a Republican stronghold, voted for President Johnson today by almost a 2-to-1 margin.
