Officer Jimenez fired his weapon two times, striking Jackson in the torso. Both Jackson and Officer Cetti were taken to St. Vincent’s Hospital for treatment. Officer Cetti was treated and released. Jackson underwent surgery. His condition is listed as guarded but stable. Jackson was charged with Criminal Attempt to Commit Murder, Assault in the First Degree, and Assault on a Public Safety Officer. At arraignment, his bond was set at $750,000.
