Craving the perfect fusion of bold Indian flavors and classic Italian pizza? This Chicken Tikka Pizza combines smoky, spiced chicken tikka with a crispy homemade crust, topped with melty mozzarella, fresh veggies, and fragrant herbs.

Ingredients:
For the Pizza Dough:
• 1 packet of instant yeast
• 1/2 cup warm water
• 1/2 tsp sugar
• 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 2 tbsp oil
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 egg

For the Chicken Tikka:
• 250g boneless chicken cubes
• 1/4 cup yogurt
• 1/2 tsp garlic powder
• 1/3 tsp paprika powder
• 1/3 tsp red chili powder
• 1/2 tsp tandoori masala
• 1/3 tsp cumin powder
• 1/3 tsp coriander powder
• 1/4 tsp garam masala
• 1/3 tsp turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp kasuri methi
• A pinch of orange food color
• Salt to taste
• 1 tbsp oil

For Assembling the Pizza:
• 4 tbsp pizza sauce
• 1 cup pizza cheese, shredded
• 1/2 small onion, thinly sliced
• 1/2 small green capsicum, thinly sliced
• 1/4 tsp red chili flakes
• 1/4 tsp dried oregano
• Black olives and jalapeno
• Milk (for brushing the edges of the dough)

Instructions:
1. Prepare the Dough:
• In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy
• In a large bowl, mix flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture, egg and oil.
• Knead until a smooth and elastic dough forms. Cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.

2. Marinate the Chicken:
• In a bowl, mix the yogurt, paprika powder, garlic powder, red chili powder, turmeric, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, tandoori masala , orange food color, kasuri methi and salt.
• Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and mix well. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

3. Cook the Chicken Tikka:
• Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan over medium heat.
• Add the marinated chicken pieces to the pan.
• Cook until the chicken is fully cooked and charred. Set aside.

4. Assemble the Pizza:
• Preheat the oven to 200°C.
• Grease the pizza tray with oil.
• Punch down the risen dough and knead it for a minute.
• Spread the dough on the pizza tray with greased hands.
• Prick the base with a fork.
• Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the base.
• Sprinkle a layer of pizza cheese on top.
• Add the cooked chicken tikka pieces, onion, and capsicum slices.
• Sprinkle pizza cheese.
• Add black olives and jalapeno.
• Sprinkle red chili flakes, and dried oregano on top.
• Apply milk on the edges of the dough
• Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
• Slice and serve.
