📼 VIDEO DESCRIPTION
In early August 2020, Carlton Weekly, better known as FBG Duck, was shot and killed while shopping in Chicago's Gold Coast area. He was struck multiple times, and dozens of bullet casings were left at the scene. Two others were also injured during the attack. The shooters, wearing masks, fled the scene in vehicles.

The murder was the culmination of a long-standing gang rivalry between FBG Duck’s faction of the Gangster Disciples (STL/EBT) and the O-Block faction of the Black Disciples. Six men involved in the killing were members of the O-Block gang.

One of the convicted men, Ralph Turpin, was reportedly in the same store as FBG Duck and informed his associates of his location. The group then traveled to the Gold Coast, and investigators were able to trace their path through surveillance footage.

This gang feud was fueled by social media exchanges and drill rap diss tracks, where gang members disrespected rivals. FBG Duck's song, which targeted members of the O-Block gang, is believed to have contributed to his murder.

A significant bounty was placed on FBG Duck’s life, which was later increased.

The six men convicted in connection with the murder are:

Charles Liggins
Kenneth Roberson
Christopher Thomas
Marcus Smart
Tacarlos Offerd
Ralph Turpin
They were found guilty in early 2024 and face life sentences following a trial that spanned several months.
