Titanic Unthinkable

Things are always as they appear until rudely, they are not.
Light speeds at the speed of light until you do and then it stops.

Reality percolates through the muck and the filters of your brain.
What goes in purely comes out poorly and is never the same.

Life will give you lemons, 9/11, hell and heaven and the chicken pox.

If you want to ignore Niagara, be sure you are heading for a fall.
This 747 will nose dive until you put your hands on the controls.

The obvious, oh so obvious becomes the unthinkable.
No one laughed when the titanic split in half coz it was unsinkable.

Life will give you lemons, 9/11, hell and heaven and the chicken pox.

But while you are whining, look at the silver lining that you totally forgot.

I was rudely awoken by reality knocking loudly at my door.
But I didn’t want to believe it so I did my best just to ignore.

But it broke in, grabbed me up, took me to my cell so quietly.
Then it dawned on me that reality was not what I wanted it to be.

Life will break your shopping bag, zig your zag, make you gag and give you a nagging cough.

It put me on the rack. It pulled me apart between the real and my make believe.
The pain of holding two opposing truths in my head was excruciating.

The begging and burning and wanting and yearning to keep to my illusions.
To move through the pain I was sold on the gold of realities conclusions.

Life will break your shopping bag, zig your zag, make you gag and give you a nagging cough.

But while you are whining, look at the silver lining that you almost forgot.

What do you love in this new state of things?
It knows what you need and what it needs to bring.
It sees a bigger picture for your deeper destiny.
It might just inspire you to write a song to sing.
