Valencia Life

Today's throwback is coming to you from Valencia, Spain. I'm not certain where Valencia falls in the ranking of major Spanish destinations. (number 12, link below) Certainly after Madrid & Barcelona. We checked out part of Valencia in the last episode, and we'll see a little bit more of it today. Valencia is a coastal city, so expect some beach, (maybe next episode). Today we have to locate and get to the shore. As you know we walk nearly everywhere we go.

I was mistaken about October and why it is the tenth month with a name that means 8. It was indeed the 8th month at some time. We asked around and got answers that didn't align with our beliefs; that is, what we were told. We have a few answers, but even more questions. Heads up, there will be a third part to the October Trilogy.

It's a gym day and we are able to get back to some of the leg work we enjoy. We think you'll like the new-ish presentation.

YouTube: [The Gymmy Jamm Season 10] Functional Fall. Deadlifting is still a thing, however we sustained what we deemed a nerve injury that we are still recovering from. (We know the difference between nerve ache & muscle soreness, we think.) Our Autumn plan is for more dynamic movement, rotation, jump training, body weight work. Still working towards strength & power via lifting, but also isometric holds, balance, dead hangs, and various assisted moves. Still working towards, muscle ups, plange, front lever, pistol squats and a few more gymnastic moves. The work is beneficial even if it takes us "forever" to hit those moves. I can feel some dormant muscles activate upon attempting various moves & positions.
