After getting this hood in the mail I did an unboxing and review video. The first thing i noticed when taking the product out of the package was the strong chemical smell it had. On its own without washing the small lasted about a week. I did wash it at the end of 5 days and it cleaned up most of the small making it wearable. As to the quality compared with the official MR S hood: The first main difference is the muzzle texture. This hood has a ruff texture to the muzzle, ears, and eyebrows. The texture is a diamond pattern. This isn't bad or good but it is something to consider if you wanted a specific look for your pup self. The second thing I noticed was the stitch quality compared to the official MR leather hood. The zhengya hood has a less dense stitch. Brand new I could pull on the material on both sides of the stitch and pull creating a gap where I could see through to the other side. The ears in my shipment were already bent, and since the ears have metal to allow for this it is up to you weather you want to try to straiten them out. I like the pointy look and would find it annoying to try to restring bent metal, but your millage may vary and this may not be an issue for you. Overall I would argue that the quality is not ideal and may break sooner than the official mr s leather hood. That said with the official hood around $135 to $180 at 2/27/2019 this hood coming under $30 makes me forgive a lot of the quality issues. I would recommend this if you are trying puppy play for the first time or just want a fun pup hood for a holiday.
