MCU Cutting Costs | Marvel Making Up for String of Flops

Marvel Executive Brad Winderbaum said in a recent interview Disney is significantly cutting the cost for future projects for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, MCU, in order to save money.

It’s no secret that Marvel has bee suffering at the box office as well as with their streaming number on Disney+ these last couple of years. Deadpool & Wolverine proved to be a much-needed hit and their current series Agatha All Along may turn out to be helpful if the claims of the budget being low turn out to be true. This news obviously shows Disney is not happy with the direction the franchise has taken. Combine this with the rumors of the studio laying off activists’ producers and it’s possible there could be a light at the end of the tunnel for Marvel fans.
