Aircrew rescues 2 hunters from remote Southern California mountainside in high heat

Two hunters were airlifted to safety after suffering heat-related injuries while hunting near Mt. San Jacinto in Riverside County, where temperatures reached 112 degrees.

Riverside County Sheriff’s Aviation Unit conducted the rescue, hoisting the hunters to safety and transporting them to medical personnel.

The severity of their injuries was not disclosed, as reported by KTLA 5.
