This how to covers all the steps and a few little tips on how to perform a 100 hour or 300 hour service on Mercury outboards from 75-115hp engines. It covers all of the 2.1L outboards. I show you how to remove the prop. Remove the lower unit. Replace the water pump impeller. Replace the fuel filter. Replace the spark plugs. Change the gear oil and engine oil. And replace the thermostat. I also replace the zinc anodes on the lower unit and power trim. There's a few issues I run into that are very common like salt water corrosion and broken bolts. I show you how to clean and properly service everything to help prevent corrosion from building up in the future. I hope this video helps and you're able to perform this very easy service maintenance yourserlf.
